Uptown Dog Grooming - A "pawsh" experience for your best friend
About Us

Owner Joanne Bergren Chretin was a freelance deposition reporter for 25 years and owned Bergren & Associates Court Reporters, a deposition reporting agency in Palm Desert.  She has always had a soft spot in her heart for dogs, and when she learned that there was a school that taught dog grooming in the desert, she jumped into it with both feet.  Her favorite part of working with dogs is that she can TALK when she's working, and her doggie clients love it.  They enjoy listening to her tell them how gorgeous they are!
Joanne has a special talent for making dogs feel comfortable and confident when they're with her.  Most of her doggie clients are happy to come in for their baths and haircuts, and that makes their owners feel good about leaving them in her competent care.
Please let us give you and your dog a chance to get to know us.  We offer great services at competitive prices and look forward to meeting you.

Brittnee Closson  is our fine-finish scissor groomer.  In her spare time, she's raising a beautiful 2-year-old, but when she's at the salon, she's creating gorgeous styles for our beautiful furry customers.  You'll love the way your dog looks when Brittnee performs her magic.  She'll groom all  breeds, but her favorites are Bichons, Poodles, Malteses, Shih-Tzus, Westies, and Pomeranians.

Adriana Martinez loves grooming Poodles,
Bichons, and Shihtzus.  She is also
our cat groomer.  Her scissoring
skills are remarkable.  When she's not
working, she's patiently awaiting the
arrival of her first baby, coming in August.

We have two bathers who love pampering your pets as they get them ready for their grooming.
